Currently, Madagascar, three schools, representing hundreds of students use computers in the OLPC XO to Nosy Komba , Ambatoharanana and Maroantsetra .

This is initially for those schools that the draft translation Malagasy activities of the XO computer has been launched (see " Translate Sugar / XO ").

This work in progress by several volunteers, is now visible on the occasion of the release of version 3 of the application SOAS (Sugar On A Stick), which allows the use of the environment and Sugar educational applications on a desktop computer and on the XO computer.

We are now in midstream: translation part of the project is done, thanks to the outstanding efforts of translators, to whom we express our thanks.

It remains to finalize the project, which is still incomplete, as it keeps pace with software updates, as shown here, when new features are added:

Contributors (translators and editors) are welcome.

Find us on the page of the translation team project Sugar Labs, and the list Localization . Together, Eny Mahavita Isika / Yes we can!
